Professional Rodeo clown, bullfighter and barrel man, named PRCA Clown of the Year in 1978 and 1988, and the Coors Man in the Can in 1985, 1986, 1990 and 1993.
He is a member of the West of the Pecos Rodeo Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2002. He was also inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2002 and the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2003. In 2011 he was honored on the Ft. Worth Heritage Trail. He was inducted into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City in 2013.
