Ira L. Mann, 86, died Friday, December 8, 1989.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 in Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Alvin Arganbright, lay minister, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Mann was born in Seymour. He married Mabel Baker in 1920 at Wilson, Okla. She died in 1977. He had lived in Wheeler since 1934, moving from Okemah, Okla. He was a farmer and a contract painter.
Survivors include a son J.W. Mann of Decatur; four daughters, Lucille LaDuke of Houston, Frances Temple of Phoenix, Ariz., Jean Dyer of Sayre, Okla., Barbara Beard of Wheeler; a sister, Florence Strickland of Plainview; 21 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Mable [sic] Cleone Mann, 74, died Sunday, December 25, 1977, in Borger.
Services were Wednesday, December 25, 1977, in Borger.
Services were Wednesday, December 28, 1977 at 2:00 p.m. in the Landmark Missionary Baptist Baptist [sikc] Chruch [sic] with the Minister Don Stone of Clarendon officiating. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
She was born at Cleburne and came to Wheeler in 1934. She had lived here until six months ago, when she moved to Fritch.
She married Ira Mann in 1920 at Wilson, Oklahoma. She was a Methodist.
Surviving are her husband, Ira; a son, J.W. of Decatur; five daughters, Mrs. Bessie Mathews of Fritch, Mrs. Lucille LaDuke and Mrs. Barbara Beard, both of Houston, Mrs. Frances Temple of Phoenix and Mrs. Jean Dyer of Shamrock; two brothers, Frank Baker of Frederick, Oklahoma and Clifforn Houts of Muskogee, Oklahoma; a sister Mrs. Eva Robinett of Long Beach, California; 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pall Bearers were Delbert Austin, Henry Barnes, Wayne Davis, Bill Wade, O.L. Wood, and Don Zollard.
