Parents of Lt. James Y. McQueen, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. McQueen, received a wire yesterday from the adjutant general informing them that their son had been killed in action.

The telegram read as follows: The Secretary of War desires me to express his deep regret that your son Second Lieutenant James Y. McQueen was killed in action in defense of his country on the eighth of February in Italy. Letter follows. Signed, The Adjutant General.
