TECATE, MEXICO - Morris Neil McQueen, 65, a former resident of the Borger and Wheeler areas, died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Tecate, Mexico.

Cremation was by Villatorios V.I.P. Mortuary at Tecate.

Mr. McQueen was born in Borger and raised in Wheeler. He graduated in 1952 from Wheeler High School. He served four years in the intelligence branch of the Air Force and was stationed two years in Turkey. After his discharge, he attended Texas Tech University at Lubbock, graduating in 1960 with a degree in business administration. After graduation, he worked for Ford Motor Co., living in Mexico, Argentina and France. He returned to the United States in 1975, settling in San Francisco, and later retiring to Tecate, Calif.

Survivors include two sons, Michael McQueen and Martin McQueen, both of San Jose, Calif.; a brother, Alton E. McQueen of Amarillo; and a sister, Nina Walls of Amarillo.
