WHEELER - Doretta Ethel Moore, 81, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore was born April 12, 1924, in Wheeler to James Barksdale Calcote and Goldie Trimble Calcote. She lived in Wheeler almost all of her life. She married R.O. "Red" Lister in November 1942. He died in December 2001. Mrs. Moore married Hutch Moore, and he died in 1980. She worked as an LVN. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Wheeler.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, and a sister.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Don Lister of Wheeler and Garry Robert Lister of Canadian; two brothers, Odis Calcote of McLean and Thurman Calcote of Kelton; two sisters, Oleta Ellis of New Braunfels and Odessa Mooney of Wheeler; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
