WHEELER - Wendell Ray Moore, 47, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in First Methodist Church with the Rev. Aaron Mercer, pastor of Cornerstone Church, and the Rev. Tom Woodward, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Wendell was born April 22, 1960, to E.M. "Spud" and Mary Moore in Pampa. He attended Wheeler schools and graduated in 1978. He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos. He coached at Channing ISD for several years and then was engaged in farming and the oil field. He was a member of First Methodist Church in Wheeler. Wendell, a lifelong Wheeler native, will be remembered as a kind-hearted gentleman, an animal lover and soulful guitar player. While we will miss him dearly during our journey on Earth, we are comforted by his presence in heaven with his loving parents and the peace he now has.

Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Bice of Elk City, Okla.; a grandaughter, Daisy Bice of Elk City; three sisters, Linda Bruton of Saratoga, Calif., Marlene Miller of Pearland and Marilyn Herd of Georgetown; three brothers, Jaime Moore of San Marcos, John Moore of Renton, Wash. and Dennis Moore of Wheeler; and 17 nieces and nephews, Clint, Shelly and Jason Moore, Dillon, Landon and Colton Miller, Brianna and Natalia Bruton, Christian Moore, Kaysha and Maray Herd and Alli, Jeret, Dagen, Jansen, Hallon and Cambri Moore.

The family suggests memorials be to the Kidney Foundation Inc., 30 E. 33rd St. New York, NY 10016
