WHEELER - (Special) - Tom J. Muse, 54, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday in his home here. A farmer, Mr. Muse had lived in the Wheeler area since he moved to Briscoe at the age of eight.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Wheeler Baptist Church with Rev. T.E. Yarbough officiating assisted by Rev. M.B. Smith.

Mr. Muse is survived by his wife; two sons, E.J. and Harper; his mother, Mrs. Eura Muse of Wheeler and four sisters, Mrs. C.L. Lewis of Wheeler, Mrs. Jerome Brigman of Longview, Wash., Mrs. Sam Moore of Sunray and Mrs. T.E. Lowry of Wellington.

The Kirk Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Anna May Muse, 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1995, at Clarendon. Services were Saturday October 7, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Center Church with Rev. Gene Allen, Pastor, Briarwood Full Gospel Church of Pampa, Texas officiating. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Mrs. Muse was born Oct. 22, 1903, at Moore, Okla. She married Tom Muse in 1935 in Hemphill County; he died in 1955. She had been a long-time Wheeler resident before moving to Clarendon, where she had resided for the past seven years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Center in Wheeler.

Survivors include two sons, Harper Muse of Clarendon and Eddie Muse of Cantonment, Fla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

Pallbearers were Doil Douthit, Jimmy Helton, H.J. Johnson, A.B. Tally, Frank Young, R.L. Zybach.
