Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church of Wheeler at 2:00 P.M., July 14 for Mrs. Ura Muse, of Sunray. Mrs. Muse, who had been ill for the last 25 years, passed away in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Olive Moore of Sunray, July 12, at 12:01 A.M.

Ministers were Rev. M.G. Vpton [sic] of Sunray, Rev. Frank Ross of Wheeler and Rev. Robert Ely also of Wheeler.

Mrs. Muse was born Nov 20 1871 in Jefferson City, Texas. She married Eli J. Muse at Terrill Tex., in December, 1894 and spent her active life as a housewife.

Mrs. Muse was born Nov. 10, and in the surrounding community for 49 years after coming here from Coffman [sic] County, Tex. Mrs. Muse spent the last six years of her life with her daughter, Mrs. Moore, in Sunray. Mrs. Muse was a member of the Baptist Church.

Grandsons serving as Pall Bearers included Jerry Lewis, Tommy Moore, A.V. Lowrie, John Lowrie, Joe Lowrie and Harper Muse.
