Lowell A. Pendleton, 72, died Sunday, June 16, 1996.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Stinnett Church of Christ with Zeb Sailors, minister, officiating. Burial was at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Wheeler Cemetery at Wheeler by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Pendleton was born in Wheeler and had lived in Stinnett for 40 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He served on the Stinnett school board for nine years. He was a member of Stinnett Church of Christ, the American Legion and C.B.I. Club.
He married Louise Tillman in 1949 at Wheeler.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry Pendleton, of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; two daughters, Lisa Hooper and Laura Fox, both of Amarillo; three brothers, Carroll Pendleton, of Stinnett, Charles Ray Pendleton of Wellington and Olin Pendleton of Grand Prairie and five grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
