PAMPA - Carroll L. Pettit, 81, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Nachtigall, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Pettit had been a resident of Pampa since 1956. He was an instrument technician for Celanese for 29� years. Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Carol Crossman of Pampa; a brother, Maurice Pettit of Borger; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Highland Baptist Church, 1301 N. Banks St., Pampa, TX 79065: or BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner St., Pampa, TX 79065.
