Bernice B. Ramsey, 81, of Amarillo, died Thursday, May 19, 1983.

Services were held at 4 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 1983 in the Wheeler Church of Christ. Ken Free, minister, officiated. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery by Richerson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ramsey was born in Rogers, and moved to Wheeler in 1919. She moved to Amarillo in 1978. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married Robert Lee Ramsey in 1921. He died in 1973.

Pallbearers were members of the family.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patsy Ann Britting of Amarillo; two sons, Ralph Leon Ramsey of Brownwood and Sheriff Doyle Ramsey of Wheeler; three brothers, Larimore Lamberth of San Antonio, G.A. Lamberth of Amarillo and Herman Lambertha [sic] of Carlsbad, NM; and three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Hibbetts of Abilene, Mrs. Ethel Miller of Mineola and Mrs. Vina Bell Hibbetts of Malone.
