*Obituary
Alvin J. Richerson, 68, of 1625 N. Nix, died early this morning in the Amarillo Veterans Hospital.

He was a former truck drier for Neill Singleton and had lived in Amarillo 30 years. He was born in Cleburne.

He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Funeral services for Mr. Richerson will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Claude Spilman, associate minister of the First Assembly of God Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Pete Adcock of the Four Square Gospel Church.

Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the cemetery at Wheeler. Pallbearers will be E.C. Porter, Eldon Reed, Doyle Prater, George Jones, M.D. Short and Harvey McQueen.

Survivors are his wife, Eunice; a son, Dale Richerson, address unavailable; a stepson, M.H. Bremer of Lubbock; a brother, Cecil of Wheeler; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Hall of 823 Alabama, Mrs. Ed Smithof Wheeler and Mrs. Stanley Green of Farmington, N.M., and three grandchildren.
