WHEELER - Bobby Dean Risner, 61, died Monday, April 5, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Wheeler with the Rev. Ricky Pfeil of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Mr. Risener was born in Wheeler and graduated from Mobeetie High School. A lifelong Wheeler County resident, he moved to Wheeler in 1983 from Mobeetie. He was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Wheeler.

Mr. Risener was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. For 20 years, he was employed by Dement Construction Co. and then worked as a heavy equipment operator for Wheeler County Precinct 1.

He married Mary Jackson in 1987 at Mobeetie.

Survivors include his wife; a sister, Donna Cunningham of Amarillo; and two brothers, Charles Risner of Perryton and Malcolm Belote of Wheeler.

The family suggests memorials be to the American Heart Association, 2404 W. Seventh, Amarillo, TX 79106.
