Wilma Pauline Risner, 86, a former Wheeler resident died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995, in Lyons, Kan.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 1995 in First Baptist Church, Rev. M.B. Smith, former pastor, and Rev. Mike Dyer of Allison officiated. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Risner was born in Mountainburg, Ark., and had lived in Wheeler until moving to Lyons in 1990. She married Sam Risner in 1929 at Wheeler. He died in 1957. A son, Don Risner, died in 1930. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Geraldine Crow of Chase, Kan., and Billie Dorman of Palisade, Colo.; a sister, Jan Hand of Deming, N.M.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
