Bessie Robertson, 95, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 1994.

Se3rvices were Saturday, Feb. 19 in First Baptist Church. Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa and Rev. Robert Helsley, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robertson was born in Indian Territory and moved to Wheeler in 1913 from Estelline. She was a graduate of Wheeler High School. She married Lester Robertson Sr. in 1919 at Wheeler. He died in 1935. She was a nurse at Wheeler Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Robertson also was preceded in death by a son, Lester Robe4rtson Jr., in 1978.

Pallbearers were Dr. Larry Barbour, C.B. Brotherton, Richard Gaines, Dr. Louie Mendiola, Bobby Vanpool and Hyland Weaver.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn Robertson of Bay City and Billy Robertson of Wheeler; two brothers, Ray McLain of Amarillo and Robert McLain Jr. of Fort Worth; a sister, Lillie Carlyle of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
