WHEELER - (Special) - Funeral services for Edwin B. Robertson, 66, of Wheeler, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Wheeler Baptist Church with Rev. M.B. Smith, pastor, and Rev. R.K. Whitaker, Twitty, officiating.
A redent of Wheeler since 1917, Mr. Robertson was born Sept. 5, 1887, in Parker County and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of the Kirk-Mason Funeral Home.
Survivors besides his wife, Mrs. Mattie [sic] Belle Robertson of Twitty, are his children: Harold A. Robertson, Borger, Mrs. Clarice Newkirk, Shamrock; Chandos W. Robertson, Albuquerque, N.M.; Edwin B. Robertson, Roswell, N.M.; Mrs. Norma Fulton, Denton; Corky R. Robertson in service in Korea and Douglas Y. Robertson, Borger; 12 grandchildren, and 3 sisters: Mrs. Arge Ash, Mrs. Nora Cogburn, and Mrs. Joe Glenn, all of Throckmorton. One daughter, two sons, three brothers, and three sisters preceded him in death.
