Carlisle C. Robison, a resident of Socorro, NM since 1949, passed away Friday, August 9, 2002 in Socorro General Hospital. He was born in Wheeler, Texas, October 19, 1917, the son of Clarence and Anna Robison. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Robison of Socorro; children, Carlisle C. Robison, Jr. and wife, Betty Gail of Flagstaff, Arizona and Beverley Shinkle and husband, Mike of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Robert Bangeter Jr. and wife Patricia of Las Vegas, Nevada, H. Wesley Bangerter and wife Shelly of Houston, Texas, Phillip W. Bangerter and wife Shannon of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Carlisle C. Robison, III and wife, Brenda of Flagstaff, Arizona. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren. Carlisle moved to Socorro from California in June of 1949 and farmed until 1956 when he operated Socorro LP Gas until his retirement. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held Monday, August 12, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Socorro with Rev. Judy Romnero-Oak officiating. The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 1280 S. Parker Rd. Denver, Colorado 80231 in lieu of flowers. Cremation arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro, New Mexico.
