Mr. George was a member of Phoenix Lodge No. 69, Knights of Pythias and of the Dick Dowling Camp of United Confederate Veterans.
Son of Daniel and Permelia (Vickers) George, per his death certificate, which shows his year of birth as 1851.
Mr. George died on December 18, 1929 at the age of 83 in Houston, Texas.
