Born on December 7, 1885 in Lima, Allen County, Ohio to Mary Horrigan and Patrick J. Horrigan.
**Consulate birth records/Draft Cards list his name as Mitchell Alfred Horrigan, not Michael A. Horrigan as his obituary states. His obituary lists Grace as his wife and both of his daughters in it as well; He, Grace and Mary are all buried at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Texas, listed as Mitchell A. Horrigan.
Word was received by Patrick Horrigan, 956 W. North Street, of the death of a son, Michael A. Horrigan, 49, former Lima resident, at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in his home in Jackson Heights, N.Y. Death was caused by spinal meningitis.
Michael Horrigan was born in Lima. He was graduated from St. Rose high school in 1903. He at one time was an employee of the Buckeye Pipe Line Co., but left Lima soon after graduation to accept a position as traveling auditor with a large oil company. For many years he traveled in Africa, France and many of the nations of Europe. Horrigan was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his widow, who formerly was Miss Grace Dowling, of Lima; two daughters, Mary Grace Horrigan and Delta Kay Horrigan, all of New York; four brothers, Dan, of Tulsa, Okla., John, of Houston, Tex., Edward of Lafayette, La., and the Rev. J. A. Horrigan, of Antwerp; two sisters, Sister Margaret Alavoque, of Xenia, and Mrs. Hugh Gibson, 956 W. North Street. The body will be taken to Houston for burial.

Married Grace on August 16, 1923 in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
Mr. Horrigan died at the age of 50 in Jackson Heights, New York on March 3, 1936.
