Death Of Mildred Sloan At Wheeler, Texas, Sun.

Mr. Owen Sloan and family have the sympathy of their many Alamogordo friends and neighbors in the death of the little daughter and sister, Mildred, who died at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. G.S. Russel at Wheeler, Texas on Sunday, July 31. Her death followed an operation for appendicitis wherein the disease had progressed too far for surgical skill.

The deceased was 10 years and two months, 10 days of age. She was born at Corona, N.M., but had lived nearly all of her short life in Alamogordo. Her many little school friends keenly regret her passing, as she was a general favorite among a large group.

In the immediate family, she is survived by two brothers, James, of Alamogordo, and William, of Deming, and two sisters, Una and Frances, both of Alamogordo.

Interment was at Wheeler, Texas.
