Funeral services for Mrs. P.J. Sorensen, pioneer Wheeler county resident, were conducted this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the First Methodist church in Wheeler. Several Shamrock friends attended the rites.

Mrs. Sorensen passed away Thursday afternoon about 3 o'clock. She was the mother of Miss Esther Sorensen, former teacher in the Shamrock schools. Two other daughters and three sons survive.

Funeral services were conducted Friday for the mother of Miss Esther Sorensen, district supervisor of home economics education. Mrs. Sorensen died in Wheeler Thursday after of a heart attack following influenza.

Miss Margaret W. Weeks, dean of home economics at Texas Technological college, was notified of the death in a telegram from Miss Sorensen this morning. Miss Sorensen has headquarters at the college.
