WHEELER - Addie Lilly Swift, 95, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Country Chapel Church in Wheeler with Kyle Ohsfeldt, pastor of Grace Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Addie Lilly "Maw Maw" Swift was born Feb. 13, 1912, in Shannon to Morris E. Babe and Annie Ma Duncan Castle. "Maw Maw" Swift passed from this life Saturday, November 3, 2007 at age 95.

Addie married Auther Andy "Buster" Swift on Dec. 6, 1929, in Sayre, Okla. To this union was born a daughter and five sons. Addie was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and loved watching her grandkids in all of their activities following the Briscoe Broncos and later the great-grandkids being the Fort Elliott Cougars, and lastly the great-great-grandkids T-ball.

She was preceded in death by Buster in 1962; and a son, Versie Wayne in 1935; her parents; a grandson, Wayne Childress; a granddaughter, Britney Hathaway; a great-grandson, Johnny Wayne Dukes; a sister, Mary Powell; and a brother, Morris "Hap" Castle.

Survivors include Wanda and L. D. Childress of Briscoe, Roy and Jane Swift of Eastland, Dub and Mary Swift of Pampa, Bob and Zodell Swift of Wheeler, Glen and Kathy Swift of Eastland; grandchildren, Cathy and Melvin Hunt, Kay and Scott Luttrell, Jane and Clyde Dukes, all of Briscoe, Pat Childress of Wheeler, Morris Swift, Kelly and Bill Shelton, all of Pampa, Brian and Jennifer Swift of Wichita, Kan., Laccy Hathaway of Wheeler, Shannon Cantwell of Dallas, Ty and Cris Swift of Mobeetie, Ken and Joanie Swift, Gail and Lynn Williamson, all of Eastland, Kyle and Adrian Swift of Plano and Courtney Swift of Round Rock; a sister, Beulah Stuart of Shamrock; a brother, Fred Castle of Shannon; 26 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
