Mrs. Cora B. Teakell, 83, died Monday, March 16.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 18 in First Baptist Church, Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa and Rev. Jerry Hogan, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Teakell was born in Montague County. She married Archie Dexter Teakell in 1919 in Montague County. He died in 1935.

She had lived in Wheeler the past 51 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Neal Teakell of McAlester, Oklahoma; tow daughters, Mrs. Glynetta Hale and Miss Imogene Teakell, both of Wheeler; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
