Dwight passed away November 13, 2021 in Seminole.

He was born August 22, 1947 to Wilford Thurman and Peggy Jane Rose Dale in Tempe, Arizona. He married Sherri Phillips, December 22, 1970 in Maljamar, New Mexico. Dwight was employed with the Lea County Electric Cooperative Inc. of Lovington in the Public Electric Service, where he retired in 2008 after 30 years. Dwight coached baseball and girl's softball for many years. He was also of the Baptist denomination.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister Vivian Cochran and his brother-in-law Robert Moore.

Dwight is survived by his wife Sherri Dale of Seminole; three daughters Becky Peters and husband Herman of Seminole, Sarah Wray and husband Chris of Odessa, Mary Weber and husband Josh of Midland. He was Daddy-Do to his eight grandchildren; Preston Peters, Josiah Wray, Matthew Peters, Parker Weber, Caleb Wray, Jordan Wray, Luke Weber and Brady Weber. Also his sister Sharon Barber and husband Charlie of Lovington, New Mexico, plus three borrowed children; Mario Contreras, Alfonso Flores and Dimitra McBeth.
