W.E. "Bill" Tillman, 89, of Lefors, died December 4, 1996, at Pampa, Texas. Services were at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 7, 1996 at First Baptist Church of Lefors with Rev. Lewis Ellis, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

Bill was born August 9, 1907 in Uz, Texas. He had been a resident of Lefors for 61 years. He married Annie Pearl McFarlin on November 23, 1930 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He worked as an electrician for Coltexo Carbon Black and Cabot Corporation, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lefors for 37 years, serving as deacon for 29 years.

Survivors include wife, Annie Pearl of the home; five daughters & sons-in-law; Billie and Marvin Gray of Corsicana, Eva Jo and Lonnie Day of Lefors, Anita Fay Rowe and Linda and Tim Caddell, all of Plano, and Barbara and Mark Harper of Velma, Oklahoma; one brother, Bob Tillman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister, Louise Pendleton of Stinnett; eighteen grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

LEFORS - Annie Pearl Tillman, 90, died Monday, June 17, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lewis Ellis, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Tillman had been a resident of Lefors since 1936. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Billie Gray of Corsicana, Eva Jo Day of Lefors, Anita Rowe of Plano, Barbara Harper of Velma, Okla., and Linda Caddell of San Antonio; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
