NATIONS-TOWER Wanda Lee died December 10, 1998. She was born May 7, 1924, in Wheeler, TX, to Frank and Nora Hyatt. She graduated from Wheeler High School and Draughon Business School. Wanda was a member of the Geology Wives Assoc. and was the first female Independent Oil and Gas Operator and Producer in the state of Oklahoma. She was also an active member of Putnam City and Quail Springs Church of Christ for many years.

Wanda is preceded in death by her mother and father, Nora and Frank Hyatt, sister, Melba Wallis, husband, Alton Nations, husband, Roy Lee Tower and daughter, June Kay Nations.

She is survived by four daughters, Jo Nations Garnand, OKC, OK, Lynn Nations Harp and husband, Don, Norman, OK, Debbie Strahan and husband, Danny, Indianapolis, IN, and JoAnn Tower Baker and husband Brian, Bethany, OK; also Lynn and Nancy Garnand, Norman, OK and Craig Light, OKC, OK; brother, Tommy Hyatt and wife, Laura, Tucson, AZ; brother-in-law, Howard Nations and wife, Nell, Palm Bay, FL; sisters-in-law, Alice Tower, Billings, MT, LeeAnn Tate, Colorado Springs, CO. There are 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and dear friends "Jane and Lee." Memorial services will be Monday, December 14, 1998, at 10 a.m., in the Chapel of the Quail Springs Church of Christ. Family requests memorials be made to either Hospice of Oklahoma County or The Quail Springs Church of Christ Benevolent Fund.
