*Obituary
Carl Harless Turner, 69, died on October 2nd in Parkview Memorial Hospital at Wheeler. His services were in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa and Rev. Ernie McGaughey, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. He was buried in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home Saturday, October 3rd.

Mr. Turner was born in Grayson County. He moved to Wheeler County in 1925. He married Reda Mae Swetnam in 1933 in Briscoe.

He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Jessie Turner of Quitaque and Dave Turner of Pampa, a daughter, Mrs. Maurita Blackwell of Pampa, two sisters, Mrs. Nova Green of Pampa and Mrs. Lola Smith of Wheeler and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jeff Kelley, Ed Riley, N.L. Sechrist, Harold Austin, Leonard Gaines and Robert Jones.
