Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel May VanSickle, 48, were held Saturday, February 23, from the Methodist Church.
Mrs. VanSickle was born at Campbell, Texas, December 5, 1886 and passed away at her home Wednesday, February 20, 1935. She was 48 years, two months and 14 days of age at the time of her death.
She professed Christianity and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church at the age of eight years. Her many friends will remember her as a devoted Christian companion and a faithful mother. She was married in 1901.
Mrs. VanSickle is survived by her husband, J. W. VanSickle of Wellington; six daughters, Mrs. Mable Hardy of Philadelphia, PA; Mrs. G. W. Mitchel of Dallas; Mrs. L. S. Sewers of Dallas; Miss Lillian VanSickle of Dallas; Bobbie Ruth VanSickle and Gene VanSickle of Wellington. Four sons, Herman VanSickle of Longview; Wendell, Clyde and Billy VanSickle, all of Wellington. Three Brothers, G. A. Boltin of Wheeler; Lee Boltin of Fort Worth; Roy Boltin of Wheeler. Sister, Mrs. Dora Shields of Greenville.
