*Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Emeline Walker, were conducted at the First Baptist Church here Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock with the pastor, Rev. M.B. Smith, and Rev. Luther Crawford of Shamrock officiating.

Mrs. Walker passed away at a Pampa hospital Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. after an illness of some two or three weeks. At the time of her death, she was 70 years and 15 days old having been born at Bonita, Texas on December 1, 1881.

The Walker family moved to the Wheeler community about 1916. She was a member of the First Baptist Church here at the time of her death.

She was married to Ed Walker, who preceded her in death, on August 28, 1901.

Survivors include: One daughter, Miss Stacy Walker of Dallas; four sons, Maldon (Bus) Walker of Twitty, Huffman Walker of Kansas City, Cash Walker of Mobeetie, and Norris Walker of Pampa; one brother, Cash Reed of Nacona; four sisters, Mrs. V.C. Walker of Crawford, Okla., Mrs. J.B. Skeen of Nocona, Mrs. Leonard Field of Lone Walf, Okla., and Mrs. Claude Dix of Nocona; and seven grandchildren. One son, Frank, passed away in 1944.

Named as honorary pall bearers were: Shorty Loter, T.M. Bowman, Nelson Porter, Dock Lile, Tink Ingram, A.C. Wood, Frank McDonald, Ed Robertson and Terrell Gunter.

Serving as pall bearers were: Chris McClain, Milton Lile, Albert Richardson, George Porter, Harry Wofford, Percy Farmer, Robert Smith, and Raymond Reeves.

Interment was in the Wheeler Cemetery beside the husband, the late Ed Walker, who passed away in 1931, with Kirk-Mason Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
