*Obituary
Mrs. Elise Stiles Walker, 81, died Wednesday, March 22, 1978.
Services were at 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 24, 1978, at First United Methodist Church here. The Rev. Ernie McGaughey, pastor, officiting [sic]. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker was born at Big Spring and moved to Wheeler County with her family in 1901. She married Dr. Glenn R. Walker in 1932 at Calvert.
Dr. Walker practiced in Mobeetie until they moved to Wheeler in 1937, and practiced in Wheeler until he died in 1967. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Episcopal Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a brother, Gordon Stiles, and a sister, Beth Stiles, both of Wheeler.
Pallbearers were Harrison, Hall[ sic] Grainger McIlhany, Thurman Rives, Joe Rogers, Al Thomas and Paul Topper.
