Mrs. Terry Walker, 37, died Tuesday in Wellington following an illness of two months. She was a resident of Wheeler, Texas, and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Ward of Wellington. She also has many other friends and relatives in this county.
Mrs. Walker was born December 12, 1898 in Texas, and was 37 years, seven months and four days of age at the time of her death. Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church in Briscoe Wednesday afternoon.
She will be remembered as Miss Leslie Ward of Wellington. She is survived by her husband [Terry Julius Walker 1899-1987 Hobbs, Lea, NM] and two sons, Terry Olen Walker and Eugene Ray Walker; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. J. O. Ward of Wellington; five brothers, Y. R. Ward of Dallas, Neil Ward and Carl Ward, both of Hollis; Ethridge Ward of Quail, and Olen Ward of Kansas City; three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Worthey of Dallas, Mrs. Roxie Parks of Hillsboro, and Mrs. Bess Horton of Okumulgee.
