Funeral services for Levi Miller, 72, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Westview Baptist Church at Slaton, with the Rev. Bryan Ross, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Englewood Cemetery, Slaton, under the direction of Rix Funeral Home.
Miller, a retired farmer, died in his Slaton home at 1:50 a.m. Friday following a five-month illness. He had lived in Lubbock County since 1937, moving to the area from Noble, Okla.
Survivors include the wife, Ardelia Augusta Menges Miller; a son, carl Edward, 1619 58th St; three daughters, Mrs Fred (Cordie) Walters, Beeville; Mrs. Don (Myrtle) Lavender, Meadow and Mrs. Debs (Mable) Lavender, Woodland, Calif.; a sister, Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Bellah, Llano; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Ruben Levi P. Miller was born March 29, 1885 in Llano County, Texas. Died March 14, 1958. His parents were Ruben Miller and Elizabeth Chastaine Lockhart.

Memorial services for Mrs. Levi (Ardelia) Miller, 94, of Slaton will be at 2 p.m. in Westview Baptist Church her with the Rev. Jim Wilkerson, pastor, officiating.
The Rev. Wilkerson will be assisted by the Rev. Brian Ross of San Angelo.
Burial will be in East Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englund's Funeral Service.
Mrs. Miller had lived in Lubbock since 1924, moving to Slaton five months ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Cordie) Walters of Slaton and Mrs. Leo (Mable) Lavender of Woodland, Calif.; a sister Viola Phelps of Arkport, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Ardelia Augusta Menges Miller was born December 26, 1883 in Gillespie County, Texas. She married Ruben Levi P Miller on July 14, 1904 at Harper, Gillespie County, Texas. He died August 2, 1978. Her parents were John Ludalfh Menges & Cynthia Luranie McDonald.
She had lived in Lynn County & Slaton (Lubbock County).
Preceding her in death were her husband, Ruben Levi P Miller; her son, Carl Edward (Pete) Miller, a daughter, Myrtle Ellen Miller Lavender.
