*Obituary
N.D. Ware, Sr. 76, passed away at the Parkview Hospital Saturday, September 18, 1971 in Wheeler after several months of illness.
Mr. Ware was born at Enid, Oklahoma, October 1, 1894. He was the son of Edward Lawrence Ware. He was married to Kathryn Inez Steele, June 4, 1914 at Woodward, Oklahoma.
Mr. Ware moved with his family to Wheeler in 1948 from Fargo, Oklahoma. He owned and operated Ware Chevrolet Agency from that time until he retired in 1959.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors are 2 sons, N.D., Jr., Wheeler, E.A., Alva, Oklahoma, 2 daughters, Mrs. W.F. Pittman, Holtville, California, Mrs. Bob McNeill, Muleshoe, 2 sisters, Mrs. Grace Helmuth, Laverne, Okla., Mrs. Mary Oldfield, Dallas, 12 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in April, 1970.
Funeral was held at the First Methodist Church in Wheeler, Monday, Sept. 20, 1971, at 2:00P.M. with Rev. Ross Dunn officiating. Interment was held at the Wheeler Cemetery with Wright Funeral Home directing.
Pall Bearers were: David Britt, Harrison Hall, Bob Patterson, Wayne Edwards, Dick Hefley, Thurman Rives, Hyland Weaver, and Joe Rogers Honorary Pallbearers were Clifford Hefley, Clarence Robison, O.L. Bowerman, R.D. Harris, Earl Meadows, and Coy Bradstreet.
