WHEELER - Glenn Luther Williams, 96, died Saturday, March 26, 2005.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rick Carstensen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams was born on April 29, 1908, in Tecumseh, Okla. He married Idabel Carter on June 2, 1932.
Survivors include a son, Glenn Carter Williams of the ranch; two daughters, Carita Shockey of Mountainair, N.M., and Catherine Dailey of Albuquerque, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church in Wheeler.

Graveside Rites For Idabel Williams
Idabel Williams, 82, died Tuesday, Dec. 26 [sic].
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Wheeler Cemetery, Rev. Weldon Rives, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williams was born in Sparks. She married Glenn L. Williams in 1932 at Wellington. She and her husband spent the summer months at their home in Wheeler. They lived in Mountain Air, N.M. for 47 years. She was a schoolteacher several years in Mountain Air. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Coronado Club at Mountain Air. She attended the First United Methodist Church at Wheeler while residing in Wheeler.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Carter Williams of Chandler, Ariz.; two daughters, Carita Shockey of Albuquerque, N.M., and Catherine Wells of Las Cruces, N.M.; a stepbrother, Farrie Breedlove of Tucson, Ariz.; a stepsister, Mary Lou Lewis of Odessa; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
