Henry E. Winkler, 84, passed away in Parkview Hospital Thursday, March 12, 1970, after several weeks of illness.
Mr. Winkler was born December 24, 1885, in Gainesville, Texas. His father's name was James H. Winkler and his mother was the former Lovenia Higgason. Mr. Winkler had lived in Gainesville all of his life until he moved to Wheeler 1 1/2 years ago. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors was 1 sister, Mrs. S.D. Conwell of Wheeler and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were in the Wheeler Church of Christ Saturday, March 14, 1970, at 2:30 P.M. Officiating minister was Carroll Thomason. Interment was in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Wright Funeral Home.
Pall bearers were Clyde Meek, Bill Owens, Issac Carter Harold Kenady, Harold Loyd Lee and Melroy Coats.
