WHEELER - Inez Wright, 92, died Monday, April 30, 2007.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rob Lindley of Lubbock officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Mrs. Wright was born Aug. 10, 1914, in Blum to Hanna Henderson and Luticia Ann Cox. She graduated from Hanna Texas High School in 1932. She married Lewis D. Wright on March 2, 1933, in Anson. They lived in Abilene until 1973. Then they moved to Wheeler.

Mrs. Wright worked as a bookkeeper at Goodwin Grain in Abilene for 12 years. After moving to Wheeler, she kept books and worked at Wright Funeral Home. She was a member of the Eastern Star, United Methodist Women, Friendship Sunday School Class for 30 years and the Senior Citizens Organization.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis, in 1999; a brother; and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Jim Wright and wife Sharon of Wheeler; a sister, Irene Carpenter of Rocky Ford, Colo.; three grandsons, David Wright and wife Andrea of San Antonio, Mark Wright and wife Topsy of Shamrock and Scott Wright and wife Marcie of Ruston, La.; six great-grandchildren, Meagen and Brad Poage and Tandy Wright, all of Shamrock; Taylor Wright of San Antonio and Austin and Baylee Wright of Ruston; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Fund, United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 89, Wheeler, TX 79096.
