*Obituary
WHEELER - C.R. "Hawk" Alls, 82, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, in Kelton.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Kelton Cemetery with the Rev. Rob Robertson of Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home.
Hawk was born June 9, 1927, in Matador to Lee Alls and Jessie Spenser Alls. Hawk married Colleen Robertson on Jan. 20, 1949, in Clayton, N.M.
Hawk lived in Kelton for 30 years, moving there from Dalhart. Hawk was a cowboy for most of his life. He was a brand inspector for Texas Cattleraisers Association for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen; two sons, Lynn Ray Alls of Tucumcari, N.M., and Ronny Alls of Briscoe, a daughter, Nancy Davis of Kelton; two brothers, Leroy Alls of New Braunfels and J.L. Alls of Hubbard; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimers Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
