Daughter of William Nicholas Finnegan (died in 1944 in Harris County, Texas). He was a civil war soldier with the E 4 N.Y. Cavalry. Born in Alabama.
Mother of William Moran Gillespie and Lawrence Sheridan Gillespie.
Sister of William Nicholas Finnegan Jr., Kathleen Finnegan Fox, Minnie Lenore Finnegan Woods, John Thomas Finnegan, Eileen A Finnegan, Francis "Frank" Sheridan Finnegan and Robert Emmett Finnegan
Married Delma Gillespie on April 30, 1935 in Fort Bend County, Texas.
Mrs. Gillespie died at the age of 72 in Harris County, Texas.
