*Obituary
He married Oda Mae Barker of Holt County, Mo daughter of Sam and Cora Barker on Aug. 8, 1930, and lived in Skellytown until 1945. He was a member of Skellytown Community Church. They moved to Wheeler County and lived and worked a farm east of Wheeler from 1945 until 1948, when they bought the 9 Mile Store, east of Wheeler, near Kelton. He was a member of Kelton Methodist Church until his death in 1984.
