KELTON - Vaughn "W.V." Lister, 80, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Shamrock with Jack Lee, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Kelton Cemetery by Bailey-Ware Funeral Home of McLean.
Mr. Lister farmed and ranched for more than 60 years. He served in the Army during World War II, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; two sons, Darrell Lister of Shamrock and Larry Lister of Kelton; two daughters, Janice Revels of Rowlett and Glenda Wischkaemper of Shamrock; a brother, Kenneth "K.E." Lister of Texline; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice of Amarillo; or First Baptist Church of Shamrock.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at First Baptist Church of Shamrock.
