Frederick Leonard Rathjen, 77, died Wednesday, February 3, 1988.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 6, at Kelton Baptist Church. Rev. William Lewis, a Baptist minister from Amarillo, and Rev. A.G. Roberts, a Lefors Baptist minister, officiated. Burial was in Kelton Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.
Mr. Rathjen was a lifelong Wheeler County resident. He was married to Georgia Wilson in 1940. He was a farmer until his retirement in 1970. He was a member of Kelton Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Beth Luker of San Angelo and Doris Burson of Irving; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Louie Abernethy, Tom Bryant, H.B. Krug, Kenneth Killingsworth, Vaughn Lister, Glen Waldo
