Barry Addison
February 2, 1942 - December 27, 2017

Graveside services for Barry Conn Addison, 75, of Lamesa will be held Friday, December 29, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Gwen Aldridge officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Barry Conn Addison went to be with his heavenly father Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

He was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to J.H. and Novalene Addison February 2, 1942 and raised on the Addison farm in Lamesa, Texas. He graduated from Lamesa High School and worked as a farmer in Dawson County. Barry was a wonderful father to son, Ty and daughter, Sunny. He loved spending time with his grandkids, Jada, Westyn and Owyn, and they enjoyed spending time with their "Pa". He was a proud supporter of Klondike Cougars and never missed any of this kids' activities or sporting events. He didn't have to try hard to put a smile on your face, was always quick with a joke and never encountered a stranger.

He is survived by his children; Ty Addison of Lubbock and Sunny Blair and husband, Kyle of Washington D.C.; his adored grandkids, Jada and Westyn Addison of Lubbock and Owyn Blair, of Washington D.C.; sister, Wanda Tracy and husband, Don of Lubbock; brothers, Greg Addison and wife, Marie of Lamesa, and Troy Addison of Lubbock. Barry was preceded in death by his parents, J.H. and Novalene Addison. The family would like to thank Raider Ranch and Hospice of Lubbock for their compassion and care over the past several years.
