Funeral services for Mary Okyleen Addison White "Shug", 90, of Lamesa will be held on Monday December 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of Christ in Lamesa with Mark Hackett and Kalith Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 15, 2013 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.

Shug passed away on Friday December 13, 2013 in Lamesa.

She was born on July 13, 1923 in Lamesa to Oscar and Elvie (Scarborough) Kelley. She married Virgil M. Addison on May 1, 1942 in Lovington, NM. He preceded her in death in 1968; they were married for 26 years. She later married Gus White on October 12, 1999 in Lamesa. He preceded her in death in 2011; they were married for 12 years. Shug was a homemaker for 40 years and then she became a nail technician and worked with her daughter, Connie for 18 years. She also farmed in Dawson and Gaines Counties. She loved playing golf, playing bridge and other card games and she was an avid sports fan.

She is survived by her children, Graham Addison and wife, Rita of Seminole, Mike Addison of Lamesa, and Connie Nance and husband, Kenny of Lamesa; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Shug is also preceded in death by her parents; son, Rodney Addison; daughter-in-law, Janet Addison; sisters, Jessie Harris, and Wynell Burleson; and brothers, Herman Kelley, Dick Kelley, and Brub Kelley. The family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
