Jimmie Garcia Alvarado, Sr.
January 1, 1947 - June 9, 2017
Jimmie Garcia Alvarado, Sr., 70, passed away peacefully at 5 o'clock p.m. on June 9, 2017 in Odessa, Texas. He was born January 1, 1947 in Vernon, Texas to Juan Francisco and Victoria (Morales) Alvarado. He was laid to rest on June 10, 2017 in Lamesa, Texas. Internment was at Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He loved being surrounded by music and his family. The most important thing in Jimmie's life was his wife and children with whom he spent every free moment. His spirit will live on through everyone he touched and his loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Mina, Toya, Margarita and Robert Alvarado. He is survived by his wife, Ninfa; children, Jimmie Jr., Elida, Cathey and Ciro. His precious grandchildren, Rebeka & Felipe Rizo, Dominique & Ernest Galindo, Ninfa & Miguel Mendoza, Jimmie III & Veronica Alvarado; great-grandchildren, Kelsi, PJ, EJ, Victoria, Katalaya, Jazmin, Elijah, Max and Violet.
