Encarnacion "Chonita" Gonzalez, 55, Colorado City, passed away on September 3, 2016.
She was born in Colorado City on December 20, 1960 to Benito and Magdalena Gonzalez.
Chonita was a quiet, gentle, and likable person who would do anything for anyone. She was also a hard worker, working many years for B&B until her retirement in 2015. While she found great enjoyment in reading, crocheting and working the biggest love of her life was her son Jeremy, he was her world.
Chonita is survived by her son Jeremy Gonzalez of Colorado City, and by her siblings; Maria Montemayer of Colorado City, Silvia (Birdie Stephens) Sanford of Colorado City, Velia Vasquez of Colorado City, Yolanda Stafford and husband Omego of Buffalo, New York, Beto Gonzalez of Colorado City, Manuel Gonzalez of Kerrville, and Tony Gonzalez of Colorado City. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by a sister Magdalena Serna.
A visitation for Chonita will be held at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home on Friday September 16th from 4-6 pm.
