Funeral services for Guadalupe Arredondo age 74 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday August 22, 2020 at The House of Prayer Church with Pastor Lee Iglesias officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Due to the area Covid-19 situations we continue to practice public safety measures.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 and Friday August 21, 2020 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Inspirational Services at 7:00 p.m.
Guadalupe passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday August 19, 2020 in Lamesa, TX. She was born on January 22, 1946 in San Marcos, TX. Guadalupe married Henry Arredondo on July 17, 1966 in Lamesa, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Julia Perez; brothers, Miguel Perez, Jesus Perez, Juan Perez, Frank Perez, and Ramon Perez; sisters, Maria Ana Perez, and Mary Helen Garcia.
Guadalupe was a homemaker. She loved to cook. She was a faithful member of her beloved church The House of Prayer where she was very involved. Guadalupe cherished every moment she spent with her precious family.
Guadalupe is survived by her husband, Henry Arredondo of Lamesa, TX.; her sons, Gilbert Arredondo of Midland, TX., Henry Arredondo, Jr. of Lamesa, and Alex Arredondo and wife, Tabitha Arredondo of Lubbock, TX.; her daughters, Irene Rodriguez and husband, Andy Rodriguez of Lubbock, TX., Elida Arredondo, Marisela Arredondo, and Julie Uresti and husband, Robert Uresti, Jr., all of Lamesa; her sister, Gloria Cerna of Lamesa; her brothers, Gabriel Perez of Bay City, TX., Roy Perez of Big Spring, TX., Pete Perez, Jr. of Midland, TX, and Ignacio Perez , and Marcos Perez, both of Lamesa, TX.; 19 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and frie
