OVINA - Estella Arias, 52, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Theresa's Catholic Church at Friona with the Rev. Michael Collwell officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.
Mrs. Arias was born in Gomez Sarias, Chihuahua, Mexico. She married Jesus Arias in 1965 in Mexico and they moved to Friona in 1974. In 1988, they moved to Bovina. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina.
Mrs. Arias was preceded in death by a son, Jesus Alfonso Arias Jr., in 1988.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Leonor Arias of Bovina and Martha L. Fuentes of Texico, N.M.; two sons, Christopher Arias of Canyon and Joe J. Arias of Amarillo; a sister, Aurora Olivas of Mexico; two brothers, Ezequil Olivas and Efrain Olivas, both of Mexico; and four grandchildren.
