Graveside services for David Lee Barron, 82, of Lamesa were held on Tuesday June 30, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. Lamesa Memorial Park in Lamesa, Texas under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. David passed away on June 29, 2015 in Big Spring, Texas He was born on June 25, 1933 in Dawson County to Hayden and Juanita (Wood) Barron. He married Mary Ann Jones on December 2, 1956 in Lovington, New Mexico; they were married for 58 years. David was a loving husband and father. He farmed for many years; he loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends. David is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Barron of Lamesa; children, Lee Barron and Judy of Lubbock, Texas and Hal Barron of Dallas, Texas. Sister; Mary Parks and husband Doyle of Chilton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard and Hal Barron. Family suggests memorials to Dawson County Senior Citizens 609 N. Graveside services for Mary Barron, 84, of Lubbock, formerly of Lamesa will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Mark Hackett officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Mary passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in Lubbock.

She was born September 1, 1934 in Brownfield to O.L. and Iva (Aytes) Jones. She married David Barron December 2, 1956 in Lovington, NM. He preceded her in death June 29, 2015. They were married 58 years. Mary was a homemaker and she also helped her husband with farming. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and visited with them as often as she could. She enjoyed spending time at their home in Ruidoso and on the deer lease. Her hobby was taking care of her loved ones.

Mary is survived by her children, Lee Barron, Judy Barron both of Lubbuck, Hal Barron of Dallas, and Rob Parker of Lamesa; sister, Juanellle McDaniel of Lubbock; brother, Kenneth Jones of Granbury; grandchildren, Jarrod Barron, Cody Barron, Jake Barron, and Dustin Dawes; and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Geraldine Bishop, and Carolyn Patterson Akers; and brothers, Clifton Jones, and Oscar Jones. The family suggests memorials to Joe Arrington Cancer Center 4101 22nd Place, Lubbock, TX 79410-1121, or Hospice of Lubbock, 3702 21st Street, Lubbock, TX 79410.
