Robert Daniel Banuelos, 18, of Amarillo, and formerly of Tulia, died Saturday, April 25, 2009.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday in Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday in Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Crane. Burial will be in the Crane County Cemetery.
Robert was born May 7, 1990, in Odessa. He was a college student and had lived in Amarillo more than a year, moving from Tulia, where he graduated from high school. He loved to play tennis, and he was a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fidel Banuelos; and his grandfather, Robert Anaya Moya.
Survivors include his mother, Lisa Tarin Moya of Odessa; his grandmother, Elpidia Moya of Plainview; two sisters, Elisa Rodriguez and husband Josue of Midland and Mary Denise Banuelos of Midland; a brother, David Banuelos of Midland; two nieces, Eryka and Nailleia; and two nephews, J.J. and J'Den.
