Last rites for Jesse Ansley, 84, of 1111 N. Polk, were conducted at 10 a.m. today in Griggs Pioneer Chapel by the Rev. J.E. Anderson, Baptist minister.
Pallbearers were John Verton, Jim Allen, Carl Carron, S.L. Bruce, John Perkins and Charles Jameson, and burial was in the West Park Cemetery in Hereford.
Mr. Ansley died Friday in Hillsboro, Tex.
He is survived by a son, H.E. Ansley, Artesia, N.M.; three daughters, Mrs. John L. Matthews and Mrs. R.P. Haas, both of Amarillo, and Mrs. Dugan Taylor, Hagerman, N.M.; two brothers, a sister, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
